CHRONOLOGY
1897: Due to considerable opposition by the local "Jewish" community leadership, both Orthodox and Reform, it was decided to transfer the 1st Zionist Congress to Basel, Switzerland. Theodore Herzl acted as chairperson of the Congress which was attended by some 200 participants. The major achievements of the Congress were its formulation of the Zionist platform, known as the Basel program and the foundation of the World Zionist Organization. The program stated, "Zionism seeks for the "Jewish" people a publicly recognized legally secured homeland in Palestine." Herzl was elected President writing in his diary, "...I founded the Jewish State".
1898 2nd Zionist Congress - Basel, Switzerland. In the face of a more active opposition to Zionism from among various "Jewish" leaders, Herzl called on the Congress to CONQUER THE COMMUNITIES. At this Congress, the foundations were laid for the establishment of the Jewish Colonial Trust, a financial body aimed at the development of Palestine. It was also at this Congress that a group of Socialists first appeared demanding representation within the Zionist leadership.
1901 5th Zionist Congress - Basel, Switzerland. Herzl reported to the Congress of his meeting with Sultan Abdul Hamid II of Turkey and of the progress of the Jewish Colonial Trust. These achievements did not satisfy all the delegates, in particular those associated with the recently formed Democratic Faction. The group led by Leo Motzkin, Martin Buber and Chaim Weizmann called on the Zionist movement to adopt a program of Hebrew culture and a greater degree of democracy within the organization. The more concrete achievement of the Congress was the establishment of the Jewish National Fund (JNF) which was to raise funds for land purchase in Palestine.
1903 6th Zionist Congress - Basel, Switzerland. In his opening speech, Herzl detailed the efforts to secure a Charter on behalf of the movement, but these attempts were increasingly desperate as the situation of the "Jews", particularly following the Kishinev pogrom, deteriorated. This gave rise to various temporary solutions such as the 'El Arish' project, which was negotiated with the British statesmen, Joseph Chamberlain and Lord Landsdowne. After the collapse of this scheme, the British then offered Herzl the possibility of an autonomous Jewish settlement in East Africa (commonly known as the Uganda project). Among other matters discussed at the Congress was a report by Franz Oppenheimer on the possibility of cooperative settlement on the land, a program that was to have influence on the creation of various settlements in Palestine a few years later. This was to be Herzl's last Congress: he died a year later.

1/10/1920 League of Nations "ROTH BIEST" rises out of abyss of of war making the Zionist beach head in Palestine one of the first orders of business.
1921 12th Zionist Congress - Carlsbad (Karlovy Vary), Czechoslovakia. 1st Congress to be held after the First World War, during which time the Zionist movement had won British support for its endeavors to create a "Jewish" national home in Palestine (the Balfour Declaration). The Congress passed resolutions welcoming the decision of the principal Allied Powers to grant the mandate for Palestine to Britain and encouraged the ratification of the Mandate by the League of Nations.
7/24/22 THE BALFOUR DECLARATION, APPROVED BY THE LEAGUE OF NATIONS "ROTHBIEST", called for the creation of a "Jewish" national home in Palestine". Sir Montague, the only "Jewish" member of Lloyd George's cabinet attacked the Balfour Declaration & Zionism because he believed they were based on anti-Semitic premise that "Jews" & non-Jews could not co-exist & that a rogue Zionist state could undermine the security of Jews world wide.

5/17/1930 BIS opens its doors for business in the former Savoy Hôtel Univers in Basel, Switzerland.
The US-funded Hitler’s war with money channeled from the FED, through Wall Street banks, and eventually through the Rothschild-dominated Bank for International Settlement (BIS), located in Basel, Switzerland, right at the border to Germany, from where it was easy to pass the money onto the Reichsbank – Hitler’s Central Bank. Yes – that’s how the US was already then, dancing at various fiestas at the same time; on the one hand bombing Germany and, on the other, financing Germany’s war against what the US already then perceived as an archenemy – The Red Scare – the Soviet Union. Well, these acts of treason then were the precursors of NATO today.
5/10/33 Despite plans for a NY anti-Hitler parade the American Jewish Committee & B'nai B'rith put out a joint statement condemning "public agitation in form of mass demonstrations." Rabbi Stephen Wise & American Jewish Congress worked against legislation that would make it easier for Jews to emigrate to the U.S. from Germany.
6/21/33 THE GERMAN ZIONIST FEDERATION SENT A MEMO OF SUPPORT TO NAZIS proclaiming, "On the foundation of the new state, which has established the principle of race, we wish so to fit our community into the total structure, so that for us, too, in the sphere assigned to us, fruitful activity for the Fatherland is possible... ." Far from repudiating this policy, the World Zionist Organization Congress in '33 defeated a resolution calling for action against Hitler by a vote of 240 to 43. When Menachem Begin became chief of Mussolini's 'Betar' he expressed a preference the brown shirts of the Hitler gangs. The Zionists brought Von Mildenstein of the S.S. to Palestine for a 6 month visit in support of Zionism resulting in Nazi Propaganda Czar Goebbels ordering a medallion struck with the Swastika on one side, and on the other, the Zionist Star of David.
Early in 1935, a passenger ship bound for Haifa in Palestine left the German port of Bremerhaven. Its stern bore the Hebrew letters for its name, "Tel Aviv," while a swastika banner fluttered from the mast. And although the ship was Zionist-owned, its captain was a National Socialist Party member. Many years later a traveler aboard the ship recalled this symbolic combination as a "metaphysical absurdity." Absurd or not, this is but one vignette from a little-known chapter of history: The wide-ranging collaboration between Zionism and Hitler's Third Reich.
In 1937, the Labor "socialist" Zionist militia, the Haganah, sent an agent (Feivel Polkes) to Berlin offering to spy for the SS in exchange for the release of Jewish wealth for Zionist colonization. Eichmann was invited to Palestine as the guest of the Haganah. The list of Zionist/Nazi collaboration goes on and on. Chaim Weizmann, the Zionist leader who pushed the Balfour Declaration & became the 1st president of Israel, made Zionist policy very explicit with the Zionist Congress in 1937,:" 'Can you bring six million Jews to Palestine?' I replied, 'No.' ... From the depths of the tragedy I want to save ... young people [for Palestine]. The old ones will pass. They are dust, economic and moral dust in a cruel world." ZIONISM WAS SUPPORTED BY Hitler, SS, & GESTAPO. During the '30s, in cooperation with the German authorities, Zionist groups organized a network of some 40 camps throughout Germany where prospective settlers were trained for their new lives in Palestine. As late as 1942 Zionists operated at least one of these officially authorized Kibbutz training camps over which flew the blue/white banner that would be adopted as the national flag of Israel. Through this Transfer Agreement Hitler's 3rd Reich did more than any other government during the '30s to support Jewish development in Palestine and further the Zionist goals

11/9-10/38 KRISTALLNACHT shook up American "Jewish" leaders but they avoided any "forceful" response.
11/13/38 & 12/13/38 General Jewish Council meetings The American Jewish Congress, American Jewish Committee, B'nai B'rith & the "Jewish" Labor Committee said, "nothing should be done with regard to this matter." In addition, all of these "Jewish" organizations went on record saying, "there should be no parades, demonstrations, or protests by Jews." The World Jewish Congress became aware of plans to exterminate the "Jews" by 8/42 but there is little evidence that this galvanized "Jewish" leaders. Major "Jewish" organizations failed to lobby on behalf of a bill that died in committee sponsored by Rep. Celler that would have made it easier for Jewish refugees to emigrate from France to the U.S. during Nazi persecution. "Jewish"-owned newspapers like NY Times reported that 2 million Jews had been killed in the Nazi extermination campaign on page 10 surrounded by ads for Thanksgiving Day turkeys. "Jewish" media not only buried other stories of Nazi terror, the total number of editorials it ran criticizing the Nazis in the years 41-43 was 3/year. Yitzhak Gruenbaum, Chairperson of the Zionist nominal 'Rescue Committee', said In his book, "when they asked me to give money out of the United "Jewish" Appeal funds for the rescue of "Jews" in Europe, I said, "NO!" and I say again, "NO!" one should resist this wave which pushes the Zionist activities to secondary importance."
As late as 1943, while the Jews of Europe were being exterminated in their millions, the U.S. Congress proposed to set up a commission to study the problem. Rabbi Stephen Wise, principal American spokesperson for Zionism, testified against a rescue bill because it would divert focus from the colonization of Palestine.
